Aufgaben

• Maintains runway and taxiway lights; troubleshoots to identify the problem and repair as needed. Inspect and make repairs to taxiway lights and signs that are powered by 2400 volts and current transformers.
• Performs emergency repairs to runway lights and signs when required.
• Installs, repairs and services specialized electrical equipment and machinery.
• Constructs and maintains service equipment.
• Operates power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment.
• Requisitions material and supplies from stockroom; calls vendors to discuss needs for parts and supplies and recommends purchases and suppliers.
• Transfers primary power from one power source to another.
• Sets poles, strings overhead lines and does overhead line maintenance.
• Supervises other regular employees during a minor portion of the employee's work time; duties include assigning and reviewing work to other staff.
