Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a highly skilled Support Engineer to help operate high‑touch, scalable HR systems across Time, Work Events, Life Events, Benefits, and Pay & Compensation.

You will troubleshoot complex production issues in a fast‑paced, microservices environment, predominantly using Java/React, and collaborate with Product & Tech teams to drive incident resolution and system improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
4+ years in Linux/Unix environment.
4+ years troubleshooting and supporting production systems.
1+ years scripting or coding in Shell, Python, Ruby, or Java.
Strong problem solving for complex, ambiguous issues.
Experience participating in on-call rotation and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

Provide support for High Touch Support Services products and services across multiple HR domains.
Work on operations and maintenance coding projects, primarily Java/React.
Software deployment support in staging and production environments for High Touch Support Services applications.
Develop tools to aid operations and maintenance of HR support systems.
System and Support status reporting for High Touch Support Services.
Collaborate with Product & Tech teams for issue resolution across High Touch Support Services domains.
