Job summary

ManpowerGroup client in North Kingstown, RI is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the production team. The candidate will assemble high-tolerance electronic and mechanical products, use blueprints for precise dimensions, and participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety and quality.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2 years of experience preferred, and basic computer skills (Word/Excel). The role begins on 2nd shift with training on the first shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
• Preferred exposure to a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high-tolerance electronic and mechanical products to written specifications.
• Crate and package finished products for shipment.
• Use blueprints and sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels.
• Select and use precision measuring and checking equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects affecting safety, quality, and productivity.
