Serova in San Francisco is seeking a bench scientist to accelerate cancer vaccine target discovery. You will run high-throughput peptide and TCR screens, design plate-based and pooled assays, and automate workflows with liquid handlers, collaborating closely with computational scientists and ML models.
The role emphasizes reproducibility, library- and plate-centric thinking, and the ability to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area if needed.
Serova builds personalized cancer vaccines. Each vaccine is made for the individual patient from their own samples and given in partnership with their treating physician. Because every patient gets their own vaccine, we screen a huge number of candidate targets, and speed matters.
Every patient gets their own vaccine, so we need to test a lot of targets fast. You'll run our high-throughput peptide and TCR screening: testing large libraries of peptides, peptide-HLA complexes and TCRs to find what works for each patient.
