Success Matcher Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Lab Technician for a biotechnology client in South San Francisco, to support high-throughput DNA sequencing operations. You will work with automated systems, prepare sequencing libraries, monitor quality, troubleshoot issues, and help improve workflows.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Biology and 2–10 years in a commercial or production lab, with practical experience in DNA extraction, PCR, NGS library prep, and sequencing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field required.
• 2–10 years of experience in a commercial or production laboratory required.
• Practical experience with DNA extraction, PCR, NGS library preparation, and DNA sequencing.
• Familiarity with liquid-handling automation and 96-well plate workflows.

Responsabilités

• Receive and log samples in the LIMS and organize them in 96-well plates.
• Perform sequencing library preparation using automated systems.
• Load libraries onto sequencers and monitor runs.
• Conduct quality control and troubleshoot failed samples.
• Troubleshoot instrument and protocol issues independently.
• Maintain lab supplies and suggest protocol improvements.
