High-Tech PCB Fabrication Facility Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, strategic, and hands‑on Facilities Manager to oversee our state‑of‑the‑art printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the total operational efficiency, maintenance, and compliance of our buildings, grounds, and specialized production equipment.
Beyond day‑to‑day operations, you will serve as a key strategic partner, aligning our facilities infrastructure with long‑term business growth and technology roadmaps. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in high‑tech manufacturing environments, exceptional leadership skills, and the foresight to plan for the future.
Equipment & Maintenance Management
Maximize Uptime: Formulate, implement, and oversee comprehensive Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs to keep high‑tech PCB fab equipment (e.g., plating lines, CNC drillers/routers, exposure units, AOI machines, waste treatment systems) operating at peak performance.
Vendor & Asset Management: Manage relationships with external equipment vendors, service contractors, and parts suppliers. Maintain an accurate inventory of critical spare parts to minimize MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).
Root Cause Analysis: Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Building & Grounds Oversight
Infrastructure Management: Oversee all facility subsystems, including HVAC, cleanrooms (Class 10k/100k), DI/RO water purification systems, chemical delivery, compressed air, and industrial waste treatment. Property Upkeep: Manage the maintenance of the physical building envelope, grounds, security systems, and fire protection/life safety systems.
EHS & Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal regulations (EPA, OSHA, DEQ) regarding hazardous waste disposal, chemical handling, and workplace safety.
Strategic Planning & Capital Project
Capacity & Road Mapping: Align facilities capability with long‑term business objectives and plan, design, and execute facility modifications or expansions to accommodate new production technology and volume scaling.
CAPEX/OPEX Budgeting: Formulate and manage the annual facilities budget and prepare business cases and ROI analyses for major capital expenditure (CAPEX) investments.
Sustainability Initiatives: Identify and implement energy‑efficiency and waste‑reduction projects to lower operational costs and support corporate sustainability goals.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a highly related technical field. Equivalent advanced technical experience will be considered.
Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of facilities management experience, specifically within a high‑tech manufacturing environment. Direct experience in a semiconductor fab or PCB fabrication facility is highly preferred.
Leadership: Proven experience managing a team of facilities technicians, maintenance engineers, and external contractors.
