Requirements include a JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academics, NY bar admission, and 2 years of management-side employment litigation experience. Strong writing and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing.
• 2 years of substantive experience in management-side employment law litigation and counseling.
• Experience handling disputes involving non-compete agreements, trade secrets, and employee solicitation.
• Advising clients on terminations, leaves of absence, internal investigations, reductions in force, and employment policies.
• Ability to advise on employment issues in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other corporate transactions.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to in-person collaboration in the New York office.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in complex employment disputes, including trade secrets, non-compete, and employment mobility matters.
• Advise technology and life sciences clients on terminations, leaves of absence, reductions in force, policy review and creation.
• Provide day-to-day counseling to fast-growing companies on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from start to finish, collaborating with attorneys across practices to deliver comprehensive client support.
• Advise clients on employment aspects of corporate transactions and restructuring, including M&A.
• Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance on risk management strategies.
