Job summary

Jobot seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate to join our Tampa-based team. You will represent clients in complex disputes across construction, contract, and business litigation matters, working closely with seasoned attorneys on high-stakes matters.

We offer exposure to major clients, mentorship from nationally recognized attorneys, and opportunities to develop both litigation and ADR skills in a collaborative environment. Florida bar admission and 2+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Florida bar admission; Southeast licensure a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in complex commercial litigation.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes, construction, and high-exposure matters.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Assist clients in ADR, including mediation and arbitration.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and legal documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and drive matters toward resolution.
• Provide proactive legal guidance on risk management, compliance, and dispute avoidance.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communicate effectively on case developments.
