Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. seeks a Mechanical Technician to monitor and maintain production equipment on the manufacturing floor. You will perform set-ups, changeovers, and repairs to support high-speed filling and packaging lines while maintaining logs and documentation per SOP and cGMP.

You will collaborate with Maintenance, Operations and Engineering to meet production goals and safety standards, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years maintenance experience maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed equipment.
• Experience in equipment Corrective Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance and spare part systems.
• Basic math and algebra required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
• Troubleshoots and repairs high speed filling and packaging equipment in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
• Maintains equipment maintenance logs and documentation in accordance with SOP and cGMP guidelines.
• Completes necessary Corrective and Preventative Work Orders.
• Performs set-ups or changeovers of equipment as necessary for production schedule.
• Advises supervision of tools, materials and parts needed to maintain production equipment.
• Works closely with Maintenance, Operations & Engineering personnel to meet production goals.
