Job summary

Amphenol ICC is seeking a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer for its Valley Green, PA site. The candidate will use CAD to design PCBs, create production drawings, and ensure conformance to manufacturing requirements.

Collaboration with Electrical, Mechanical, and Process Engineering is essential to deliver robust designs. Qualifications include an Associate degree or equivalent, along with Cadence Allegro experience and strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 6 months to 1 year related experience or equivalent
• Technical capacity, communication proficiency, problem solving and teamwork
• Cadence Allegro experience required

Responsibilities

• Use computer aided design for printed circuit boards (PCB)
• Create and revise production drawings (detail and assembly)
• Apply dimensional tolerancing and manufacturing capability checks
• Address PCB manufacturing deviations and corrective actions
• Update customer application notes and engineering standards
• Maintain an organized file system for production drawings
• Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Process Engineering on new and revised designs
