Job summary

Intel's Networking Solutions Group (NSG) seeks a Network Systems and Solutions Engineer to validate Ethernet and PCIe networking subsystems for AI and HPC infrastructure. You will collaborate across hardware, firmware, and software teams to validate high-speed PHY IP implementations and 400G technologies, diagnosing issues from electrical signaling to Layer 1-2 protocols.

You will influence product quality and customer success by applying rigorous debugging and validation methods, working onsite

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 1+ years experience in Ethernet, PCIe, USB, or related serial link disciplines.
• Familiar with Linux OS and scripting languages (Python or similar).
• Experience creating bespoke scripts for automating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigorous stress tests to validate FW managed Ethernet and PCIe links.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve link issues.
• Characterize interconnects (copper, optics) and ecosystem link partners for compliance.
• Collaborate with product support, IP design, silicon integration, and electrical validation teams.
