Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory and motor design principles.
• Experience with winding techniques, lamination stacks, magnets, and insulation systems.
• Proficiency with FEA/CFD and CAD tools for analysis and modeling.
• Ability to develop performance specifications and validation plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist SME in sizing, design, and drafting of electric motors up to 70,000 rpm.
• Perform electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical analyses using FEA/CFD.
• Create detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings/documentation.
• Develop performance specs and test plans; conduct tests for efficiency, torque, speed, thermal.
• Analyze data to optimize motor efficiency.
