Accord Technologies Inc in Irvine, CA seeks an engineer to support the Subject Matter Expert in sizing, design, mechanical drawings and testing of electric motors operating at speeds up to 70,000 rpm used in our fans, pumps and compressors.

You will perform electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical analyses using simulation tools (FEA/CFD), create detailed CAD models and documentation, and develop motor performance specifications and validation test plans.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory and motor design.
• Familiar with winding techniques, lamination stacks, magnets, insulation.
• Experience with sizing, design and testing of high-speed electric motors.

Aufgaben

• Support SME in sizing, design, drawings and testing of electric motors up to 70,000 rpm.
• Perform electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical analyses using simulation tools (FEA/CFD).
• Create CAD models, drawings, and manufacturing documents.
• Develop motor performance specifications and validation test plans; conducts performance testing.
