Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive's Morristown, Tennessee facility is seeking a Project Engineer to lead multi‑million dollar capital projects across high‑speed manufacturing lines. You will manage scope, budgets, vendor bids, and safety/compliance with FDA/cGMP, partnering with cross‑functional teams to deliver on time and under budget.

Responsibilities include designing scalable manufacturing solutions, coordinating commissioning, and ensuring EOHS/OSHA standards while driving continuous improvement in line

Qualifications

• BS in engineering required with hands-on experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing capital equipment installations, line upgrades, and factory modifications.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, validation protocols (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ) and EOHS/OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency with CAD software for machine layouts and line designs.

Responsibilities

• Direct capital projects from scope through construction, startup, and handover.
• Administer the CEB process, contracts, expenditures, and cost control.
• Develop execution plans, schedule milestones, and resolve bottlenecks on the factory floor.
• Design technical solutions for high-speed packaging and processing machinery.
• Lead testing to confirm equipment reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Controls, Reliability, Safety teams to integrate automation and digital tools.
• Manage vendor bids, supervise contractors on-site, and ensure safety standards.
• Track project metrics, spending trends, and risk management for leadership.
