Job summary

Frey Consulting Group seeks a Maintenance Technician to support a high-speed mail and print production operation in Bolingbrook, IL. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and keeping complex equipment running reliably in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has electromechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with high-speed inserting systems, and a strong preventive-maintenance mindset; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in mailing, packaging, or high-speed print/production.
• Hands-on setup and troubleshooting of high-speed inserting equipment.
• Electromechanical troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in a preventive-maintenance program in manufacturing.
• English fluency; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, proactive, and emergency maintenance on high-speed mailing, inserting, and production equipment to maximize uptime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production machines.
• Share equipment setup and changeover responsibilities with operators for scheduled runs.
• Diagnose and calibrate in-machine camera and vision systems, conveyors, and control systems.
• Read and interpret manuals, tickets, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks.
• Support production needs including line changeovers and keeping machines running to schedule.
• Operate within a structured preventive-maintenance program and track scheduled service.
• Comply with OSHA safety standards at all times.
