Job summary

PHASER Hardware in San Francisco, CA seeks a Senior hardware engineer to design the modulator drive and photodetector readout electronics that move data into and out of PHASER at optical rates. You will build high-speed analog/mixed-signal circuits and lead PCB bring-up.

You’ll design modulator drivers, detector front ends, and data acquisition, select ADCs/DACs and FPGAs, and characterize bandwidth, noise and energy per sample.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing high-speed analog or mixed-signal hardware.
• PCB design and bring-up experience.
• Experience with FPGA-based data acquisition.
• Nice to have: experience above 10 GHz or optical transceivers.
