Requirements and Qualifications

• Appropriate New Jersey Instructional Certificate required.
  • Options include but are not limited to: Teacher of Technology Education, Industrial Arts
• Knowledge of graphic design and architectural drawing design
• Knowledge of the latest trends in technology, instructional pedagogy, and project-based assessment
• Knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in Technology, Career Readiness, and Visual Art
• Thorough knowledge of Google for Education tools and digital media applications
• Knowledge/evidence of implementation of best practices for supporting an inclusive environment and opportunities for students
• Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations
