Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree before first day of work with Success Academy
• A rigorous and relevant academic major (e.g., biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering)
• Ability to work in person in New York City
• Supervise a classroom of 20+ students
• Demonstrated drive for excellence and strong communication skills
• Willingness to grow into leadership roles through training and feedback
• Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and plan around priorities

Responsibilities

• Teach in New York City’s network of K-12 charter schools and help prepare students from low-income neighborhoods for college
• Participate in extensive training and use proven curriculum to focus on students
• Develop leadership skills and potential to advance into leadership within the classroom and beyond
