A bachelor’s degree is required before your first day. Teaching certification is not required, and extensive training with a proven curriculum will support you as you work with students from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree before day one.
• A rigorous and relevant academic major is preferred (e.g., biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering).
• Ability to work in person in New York City.

Responsibilities

• Teach in NYC-based K-12 charter schools.
• Participate in extensive training and use proven curricula.
• Collaborate with peers to develop leadership within the grade team and potential school leadership roles.
