Job summary

Success Academy Charter Schools seeks passionate teachers in New York City. A bachelor’s degree is required before your first day, but a background in education is not necessary as extensive training and a proven curriculum are provided.

You will join a high-performing network of K-12 schools and help prepare students from low-income neighborhoods to be confident thinkers and leaders, with opportunities to advance into leadership roles within three years.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree before your first day of work with Success Academy.
• A rigorous and relevant academic major (i.e, biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering).
• Ability to work in person in New York City.
• Supervise a classroom of 20+ students.

Responsibilities

• Join a team committed to teaching children from low-income neighborhoods to be self-assured thinkers and leaders.
• Work in a collaborative learning environment with families, students, and colleagues.
• Participate in extensive training and follow a proven curriculum to focus on students.
• Develop leadership skills and growth pathways within the school and network offices.
