Job summary

Acceleration Academies is seeking certified Teachers to serve as primary instructional resources. The role requires educators to deliver personalized, flexible learning experiences to students at risk of dropping out. Candidates must hold a valid state teaching certification for grades 6–12 and have a passion for helping students succeed.

This position is on-site, ensuring direct engagement with students during scheduled academy hours, contributing positively to their paths toward graduation.

Qualifications

• Valid state teaching certification for grades 6–12 or 9–12 in Math, English/ELA, Social Studies, Special Education, or Science.
• 2+ years of teaching experience (high school preferred).
• Passion for helping at-risk youth succeed academically and personally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competency-based content and support personalized learning.
• Monitor attendance, academic progress, and overall wellness of students.
• Analyze and use academic data to inform instruction.
