Job summary

iLEAD California is seeking a Care Team - Student Support member to aid instructional delivery for students with special needs. The role reports to the School Director/Designee and involves assisting with IEP-driven instructional activities, classroom management, and coordinating student support across the campus.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to IEP recommendations; provide instructional assistance and navigate instructions.
• Guide learners with transitions between classrooms and on campus.
• Assist with daily activities including eating, bathroom, and safe transportation.
• Monitor and record learner progress or behavior, providing proof of minutes.
• Assist with related services and use assistive tools to access curriculum.
• Collaborate with general education facilitators to prepare lesson plans.
• Support learning activities and ensure a safe, engaging classroom environment.
• Contribute to social-emotional learning and positive student behavior.
