• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; Master’s degree or higher preferred.
• NC Professional Educator’s License preferred, but not required; must be eligible to obtain license within 3 years.
• Commitment to serving first-generation college-goers and underrepresented students in STEM fields.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver rigorous lessons.
• Engage all students with project-based instruction.
• Develop students' critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration.
• Utilize technology to facilitate instruction.
• Assess student progress and align with college/career goals.
• Counsel students as Advisors in the Advisory Program.
• Communicate with students, parents and colleagues about progress.
