Job summary

American Leadership Academy is currently accepting applications for a Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year at our Vistancia High School campus in the West Valley, AZ. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities include assisting in implementing IEPs, delivering instruction, maintaining an orderly classroom, and coordinating with SPED and general education staff to support student learning.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing IEPs for students with disabilities under SPED Teacher guidance.
• Help deliver instruction in various subjects and adapt materials for diverse learners.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and promote respectful behavior.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
• Observe and document student progress and behaviors; give feedback to SPED Teacher.
