Qualifications

• State of Illinois teaching license required or able to obtain
• LBS1 certification required or eligibility for emergency approval
• Ability to meet licensing standards of state agencies

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement educational activities aligned with IEP goals and age-appropriate programs.
• Plan daily and weekly schedules for each student.
• Collect and analyze IEP goal data and adjust goals as needed.
• Prepare assessments and present levels of performance for IEP meetings.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate classroom staff and education specialists.
• Maintain classroom information books, student files, and emergency packets.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress.
• Model professional behavior and treat students with dignity and respect.
