Job summary

Qualifications

• Active NM Special Education K-12 license required.
• Secondary level endorsements may be required depending on assignment.
• Must possess a valid teaching license in special education.

Responsibilities

• Plan effective instruction for students on IEPs.
• Coordinate with Educational Assistants to meet IEP goals.
• Support inclusion opportunities for students in general education.
• Schedule and participate in Team meetings for caseload students.
• Write annual IEPs with present levels and progress.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
