Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, mandated Educational Assistant license and Substitute Teacher license.
• New Mexico driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities under supervision of the special education teacher.
• Implement behavior plans and monitor student progress.
• Prepare instructional materials and set up classroom demonstrations.
• Provide tutoring to individuals or small groups and support daily living skills.
• Maintain attendance records and assist with clerical tasks.
