Job description

This role offers a $5,000 bonus and up to $5,000 for relocation expenses.

Starting salary for new teachers is $60,000, with potential to earn up to $82,000 based on experience and education. Overall salary range is from $60,000 to $111,000, with opportunities for career growth.

The Opportunity:

At Mastery, we believe in 'all means all.' Nearly 25% of our students have individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure they receive tailored educational opportunities. We view IEPs as a collaborative tool for teachers, parents, school staff, and students to enhance educational outcomes for children with disabilities. Our special education teachers deliver research-based interventions, monitor progress, and make adjustments to optimize student success.

Our Specialized Services Program ranges from itinerant to supplemental support, prioritizing inclusion in general education settings and maintaining high teacher-to-student ratios. We have classrooms dedicated to Autism Support, Emotional Support, Life Skills, Multiple Disabilities, and Multilingual Learner Support.

We utilize a robust Response to Intervention program with various research-based curricula across grades K-12 in Reading, Math, and Writing, including Fundations, Wilson, Read180, i-Ready, TouchMath, and Quill, among others.

We value Continuous Improvement and provide frequent professional development, coaching, and data-driven instruction opportunities to support your growth as a special educator.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform essential duties, including traveling between campuses, working in various environments, and using computers and other equipment as needed.
