Qualifications

• Nebraska Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement in Special Education.
• Experience with regular and special education, emphasis on Specific Learning Disabilities, Behavior Disorders, and At-Risk Students.
• Knowledge of psycho-educational diagnosis, instructional methods, and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Behavior modification and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement appropriate programming for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to plan instructional goals and modifications.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development.
• Maintain accurate records for attendance, IEPs, and progress reports.
• Communicate with students, parents, and professionals regarding educational programs.
