Dublin City Schools is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional at Coffman High School to work with students identified as having a disability, providing the physical, emotional and academic support needed to gain full benefits from the district's special education program.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, or completion of two years of college (48 semester hours/72 quarter hours) or an associate degree, plus the ability to assist in reading, writing and mathematics.

Qualificações

• Two years of college coursework verified by transcript (48 semester hours / 72 quarter hours).
• Associate degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrate knowledge to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Responsabilidades

• Assist students with classroom activities as directed by the Intervention Specialist.
• Support IEP services, behavior plans, and student assessment.
• Prepare classroom materials and accommodations.
• Assist in regular education classes and provide student supports.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and classroom management.
• Help students with personal health care needs as required.
• Participate in professional growth activities.
• Ensure student safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Other duties as assigned.
