Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a High School Special Education Math Teacher in Cambridge, MA to provide specialized instruction for students with disabilities, adapting curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning needs.

You will develop and monitor IEPs, track progress, collaborate with general education teachers and families, and contribute to a supportive school environment. Qualifications include a Bachelor's, DESE 5-12 SPED or a Master’s in SPED, and math instruction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• DESE Certification (5–12 Special Education) or Master’s in Special Education.
• Experience teaching mathematics to students with disabilities and implementing IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized high school mathematics instruction to students with disabilities, adapting curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with measurable goals, accommodations, and supports.
• Track student progress and provide progress monitoring and reporting to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement.
