Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related field.
• Valid teaching certification or license in Spanish for middle school education.
• Strong proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken).
• Previous teaching experience, preferably at middle school level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with state/national standards.
• Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening in Spanish across proficiency levels.
• Create a positive, collaborative classroom environment.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support growth.
• Incorporate culture to enhance language understanding.
• Utilize technology to enhance instruction.
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects.
