Lake Forest High School, part of Lake Forest School Districts 67 & 115, is seeking a Social Work Intern to provide advocacy, direct service and support for students’ emotional well-being. Responsibilities include counseling, IEP/504 collaboration, risk assessments, and data-driven planning.

• MSW in a school social work focus; enrolled in a MSW program.
• School agreement for internship to run a full school year.
• Ability to initiate Non-Violent Crisis Intervention techniques after trained.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families and staff.
• Experience analyzing data to plan interventions and supports.
• Proficient with Google Apps for Education and school systems.

Responsabilidades

• Promote inclusive practices for students with disabilities
• Deliver and/or co-deliver individual and group counseling
• Use data collection system to monitor progress and update IEP goals
• Attend IEP meetings and assist with progress monitoring
• Collaborate with parents and school personnel to support students
