Qualifications

• Knowledge of the principles of secondary education.
• Knowledge of curriculum and instructional theory.
• Knowledge, skills and ability to analyze and use data to drive program improvement.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide a learning environment of high student accountability in science aligned with school goals.
• Lead and collaborate with peers to implement best practices based on student needs.
• Maintain progress-monitoring records, benchmark data, and student records as required.
• Collaborate professionally with peers to plan and implement educational improvements.
• Participate in professional development to maintain science certification or credentials.
• Assist in initiatives to meet enrollment and attendance goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with policy.
