Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above required.
• Valid South Carolina teacher's certificate in Secondary Science.
• PACE/Teachers of Tomorrow Statement of Eligibility welcomed and considered.

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at times designated.
• Plans a program of study that meets individual needs, interests, and abilities and state standards.
• Establishes clear objectives for all classroom activities and communicates these objectives to students.
• Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media tailored to the location and student needs.
• Uses effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning environment.
• Strives to implement the district's educational goals in instruction and actions.
• Takes necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, and facilities.
• Maintains accurate records as required by policy and regulation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
