Job description

This role offers a $5,000 bonus and up to $5,000 for relocation expenses.

Starting salary for new teachers is $60,000, with potential earnings up to $82,000 based on experience and education. Overall salary range is from $60,000 to $111,000, with opportunities for career growth.

As a science teacher at Mastery, you will set high expectations and provide the support necessary for all students to succeed. Collaboration with Specialized Services and School Culture teams ensures students receive the help they need to thrive.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Drive student achievement and set high expectations for all students
  2. Commit to professional growth, self-reflection, and continuous improvement
  3. Implement rigorous lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in collaboration with school leadership and curriculum teams
  4. Analyze student assessment data to inform instruction
  5. Collaborate with grade-level teams to share best practices and ensure student mastery
  6. Engage families through regular communication and relationship-building
  7. Show genuine care for students’ personal and academic success
  8. Respond positively to challenges with resilience and solutions-oriented thinking

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with evidence of achievement
  • Teacher certification – completed or in process
  • Subject matter expertise
  • Outstanding instructional skills, data-driven, engaging strategies

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform essential duties, including traveling between campuses, working in various environments, and using technology for extended periods.
