The role reports to the appropriate supervisor and oversees all school personnel. Candidates must hold a North Carolina Principal license and have master’s level training with 3–5 years of teaching experience. Position is full-time and in-office.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in school administration.
• 3-5 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Must possess NC Principal license.

Responsibilities

• General Planning: conceptualize broad goals and plan to implement the school program.
• General Coordination: ensure program compatibility with legal, financial, and organizational structures; define staff responsibilities.
• Enhancement of Personnel Skills: provide activities that develop professional growth of staff.
• School Objectives: identify annual objectives for instructional, extra-curricular, and athletic programs.
• Curriculum Objectives: ensure instructional objectives are developed with faculty involvement.
• Establishes Formal Work Relationships: implement and evaluate daily routines.
• Evaluates Performance: monitor student progress and supervise staff performance.
• Facilitates Organizational Efficiency: maintain communications with the central office and community.
• New Staff and Students: orient and assist new staff and students.
• Community: engage community resources and communicate program goals.
• Supplies and Equipment: manage materials and equipment and set priorities.
