Rockingham County Schools Williamsburg Elementary in Reidsville, North Carolina is seeking an Assistant Principal for the 2026-27 school year. The role reports to the Principal and involves leading the development and implementation of the total school program, staff supervision, and coordination of budgets and schedules.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Education Administration, have 3–5 years of classroom teaching experience, and possess a North Carolina teaching certificate

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Education Administration is required.
3–5 years of classroom teaching experience preferred.
Must possess a North Carolina teaching certificate and driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing the total school program.
Help organize orientation, registration, and instructional planning.
Provide direction to staff for goals, objectives, and professional development.
Assist in evaluating programs and initiating improvements.
Involve staff in budget priorities and resource allocation.
Coordinate budgets, schedules, and co-curricular activities.
Communicate policies and program goals to the community.
Supervise staff and ensure compliance with district directives.
