Zion-Benton Township High School District 126 is seeking a Principal for Zion Benton East High School. The role reports to the Chief School Business Official and Superintendent and leads administrative and instructional initiatives for the campus.

The position is full-time and 12-month salaried, with salary commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include instructional leadership, curriculum oversight, and district-wide collaboration.

Qualificações

• Completion of a master's degree, with appropriate college coursework in secondary school administration.
• Five (5) years of successful classroom experience and prior administrative experience required.
• Proven record of collaborative and effective leadership strongly desired.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor instructional and managerial processes to ensure program outcomes and recommend corrective actions.
• Build a common vision for school improvement with staff and align planning to district goals.
• Provide direction for curriculum development and coordination to meet state requirements and district goals.
• Lead collaboration with K-8 sender schools for continuity of instruction and academic achievement.
• Routinely visit classrooms to evaluate instructional practices.
• Demonstrate data-driven leadership to promote school improvement and student achievement.
• Foster partnerships with community, business, and post-secondary education.
• Oversee school operations including discipline, attendance, staffing, and program implementation.
