Qualifications

• Master's degree in administration or education required.
• Secondary teaching certificate required.
• Minimum 5 years of secondary teaching experience.
• Preferred: prior high school principal experience.
• Valid Michigan administrator certificate or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise instructional staff in curriculum and student activities.
• Coordinate services of resource personnel for effective classroom support.
• Implement and supervise the school’s educational programs.
• Develop and support district competency-based education and digital ecosystem at the high school.
• Administer budgeted allocations and report needs to central office.
• Lead public relations to foster community support for the program.
• Recruit, screen, hire, and evaluate professional staff as needed.
• Plan safety, emergency, and disaster preparedness programs.
