Denton Independent School District is seeking a Child Nutrition Manager for the High School Pool for the 2026-27 school year. The role supervises, trains, and manages campus food service operations, ensuring correct quantities of food are prepared and served in compliance with NSLP/SBP rules.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, a Food Manager Certification, and at least two years in school food service management.

• Two years minimum experience in managing a school food service operation.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules and production records management.
• Directs daily kitchen and cafeteria activities.
• Ensures food items meet menu specs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates with campus principal for schedule changes and special serving needs.
• Supervises and trains campus-level staff; promotes teamwork.
• Ensures safe, high-quality food production per HACCP guidelines.
• Handles deposits and payroll-related reporting.
• Places orders for food and supplies to meet menu needs.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and conducts monthly inventories.
• Reports equipment issues through HEAT system and resolves conflicts.
