Job summary

Ashland High School is seeking a National Honor Society Advisor (Temporary) to oversee the NHS program and collaborate with students, administration, and staff to ensure alignment with district standards.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with experience in high school leadership programs preferred. Reports to the Principal and includes mentorship and event coordination.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working with high school students in leadership or extracurricular settings.
• Ability to mentor and guide students in leadership development and service learning.

Responsibilities

• Holds organized, supervised practices as the program requires.
• Teaches skills to participate and be competitive in National Honor Society.
• Develops seasonal goals, objectives, and daily plans.
• Maintains communication with students, staff, parents, and officials to promote NHS.
• Ensures student safety and proper supervision at meetings and activities.
• Maintains records on equipment, eligibility, and medical information.
• Represents the school and district professionally in interactions with stakeholders.
