Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Licensed Teacher for our Tennessee residential education program. You will plan and deliver lessons, assess student needs, and record progress in the EMR system while supporting youth with complex behavioral and mental health challenges.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's with endorsement and an active teaching license; CPI/CPR training and a flexible schedule are required. Salary ranges from $58,000 to $69,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree with grade/subject-specific endorsement.
• Active teaching license in the applicable state is required.
• Experience working with youth with behavioral needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan individual and group activities to stimulate growth in language and social skills.
• Develop and apply diverse teaching techniques and prepare lesson plans.
• Administer tests and interpret results to identify academic needs.
• Maintain records, reports, and documentation in EMR systems.
