• Create an environment of respect and rapport.
• Collaborate with team members for planning and reflective practice.
• Establish and monitor routines and procedures for classroom operations and scholar engagement.
• Model precise language to communicate expectations and content.
• Use questioning and discussion to promote higher thinking and metacognition.
• Engage all scholars with well-designed tasks requiring complex thinking and scaffolding.
• Use formative and summative assessments to drive planning and provide feedback.
