Key Responsibilities

• Instructional Excellence: Deliver high- quality instruction in core subjects such as Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics, aligning lessons with Iowa Core standards.
• Student Engagement: Utilize diverse teaching strategies and educational technology to enhance mathematical visualization and personalized learning.
• Assessment & Data: Implement formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, using data to drive instructional adjustments and interventions.
• Classroom Culture: Establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment built on mutual respect and clear expectations.
• Collaboration: Actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), departmental meetings, and vertical alignment sessions with middle school and post‑secondary partners.
• Communication: Maintain proactive and professional communication with parents, guardians, and stakeholders regarding student growth and well‑being.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education from an accredited institution.
