Job summary

Excel Academy Charter Schools is seeking a dedicated high school math teacher to join our urban public/s charter school network in New England. You will co-teach and deliver rigorous math instruction to multiple sections, while collaborating with a department to refine the curriculum and assessments.

Excel Academy is a network of 5 schools in Massachusetts and Rhode Island that prepares students in grades 5-12 to succeed in high school and college and engage productively in their communities. Duties & Responsibilities

• Teach or co-teach math to several sections of high school students;

• Hold students accountable for high behavioral expectations and implement Excel’s behavior management system with consistency;
• Provide coverage as needed during non-instructional time;
• Serve as a productive member of the Excel Academy community; and
• Do whatever it takes to ensure the mission of the school is upheld
