Teacher Responsibilities

2. Student Learning - Teachers are responsible for student progress, developing solutions, and utilizing school resources and support from peers and leaders.
3. Teaching and Assessment - Teachers plan engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum, use formative assessments regularly, and adapt instruction to student needs.
4. Culture and Classroom Management - Teachers model and enforce high expectations and school rules, applying preventive discipline and supervising students effectively.
5. Teamwork, Professional Relations, and Development - Teachers participate in professional development, planning meetings, and collaborative learning communities.
6. Supporting Special Needs and ELL Students - Teachers collaborate with specialists to implement programs and comply with regulations.

Candidates must hold or plan to pursue a New Jersey Department of Education certification to teach high school Math (CE, CEAS, or Standard certificate).
