Greater Albany Public Schools seeks a High School Math Teacher for South Albany High School for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a temporary, .50 FTE position starting August 31, 2026.

Under the general supervision of the School Principal, you will help students develop skills in basic and advanced mathematics, including equations, formulas and real-world problem solving. The salary range is $52,792 to $93,707, depending on education and experience.

Salary: $52,792- $93,707 based on education and experience

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' skills and competence in basic and complex mathematical principles, equations, formulas and calculations, as well as an understanding of the application of mathematics in the solution of practical problems.

Retirement Contribution: Greater Albany School participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. Upon eligibility, the district contributes 6% of an employee's salary to their Individual Account Program (IAP). Eligibility is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.
