St. Augustine Preparatory Academy is seeking a dedicated High School Math Teacher for our North Campus. You will deliver rigorous math instruction, differentiate for diverse learners, and prepare students for AP and college readiness assessments.

The role emphasizes building a faith-centered culture, collaborating with staff and families, and using data to inform instruction and improve outcomes in a high-performing, mission-driven school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Math Education required; teaching license not required in this state.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced placement and leadership opportunities.
• Proven experience teaching high school mathematics, including AP/ honors programs is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, engaging high school mathematics instruction aligned to standards.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including AP/Honors tracks.
• Use data to monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies and plans.
• Prepare students for standardized tests and college-level exams (SAT/ACT/AP).
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and progress records in line with policies.
• Integrate technology and real-world applications to deepen mathematical understanding.
