Job summary

St. Augustine Preparatory Academy is seeking a High School Spanish Teacher for Aug Prep North Campus. The role focuses on delivering standards-based Spanish instruction to students in K4‑6th and 9th grades, with emphasis on language acquisition and cultural understanding.

You will differentiate instruction, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives, while modeling faith-based values and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or Spanish with teaching credentials
• Active participation in a Christian church
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel between K‑8 and high school campuses

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned Spanish instruction for K4‑6th and 9th grade
• Foster language acquisition, culture, and communication through engaging lessons
• Differentiate instruction using whole-group, small-group, and individualized supports
• Monitor and document student learning with formative and summative assessments
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to align instruction and support school initiatives
